We became acquainted with Berna a few years ago while in the process of purchasing a Tucson "snowbird" property. Because we were in the area for a limited time, Berna rearranged her schedule to accommodate ours, working tirelessly to find just the right property. Not much time had elapsed when we noticed that Berna had really listened during out discussions of what we were looking for in housing, picking up almost immediately on our likes and dislikes, choosing properties accordingly, and always staying within a comfortable price range. On each trip we made to view the properties, Berna had researched the market and was prepared with a large list of possibilities neatly coordinated in an organized plan that made the best use of everyone's time. She really displayed a talent for making the viewing trips comfortable and enjoyable.


At the risk of making the recommendation too glowing, we soon became very fond of Berna. One characteristic that stands out is how she worked in a way that was beneficial to all involved, showing genuine consideration for sellers' schedules and circumstances while at the same time looking out for our interests. As an example of her positive work ethic, even after two offers fell through, Berna continued working cheerfully and enthusiastically until we found just the right place.

In addition to handling the actual real estate purchase, Berna provided a wealth of information regarding other aspects of living in the area, i.e., insurance, utilities, governmental agencies, medical care providers, grocery stores, restaurants, recreational activities, area travel, interesting information on desert life, even help with finding furniture and decorating stores. This helpful attitude continued even after the real estate transaction was completed. Berna made us feel we could call on her whenever we had questions of any kind.
